Minimax F-500 EA® (Encapsulator Agent) Fire Extinguishers are designed to protect the facility from battery fire hazards.
Lithium-ion energy storage fires are unique electromechanical hazards with high energy density, leading to rapid fire growth. The F-500 EA® wetting agent is UL Listed and globally recognized for its effectiveness in lithium-ion battery fire suppression
Effective fire suppression and control is achieved by encapsulation, prevention of thermal runaway, neutralization of flammable electrolytes and gases, reduction of Hydrogen Fluoride (HF) gas, thereby improving personnel safety
Minimax F-500 EA® fire extinguishers are ISI-marked and comply with IS 15683:2018 standards. They are available in 2L, 6L, and 9L capacities, making them suitable for applications such as EV charging stations, Battery storage areas, Manufacturing facilities
As per NFPA 18A, F-500 EA® is a water-based additive utilizing advanced spherical micelle (Encapsulator Agent) technology, conforming to Section 7.7 requirements. The solution has undergone extensive validation by reputed independent third-party organizations and conducted under controlled, scientific, and highly instrumented conditions.
